I have always had a passion for rehabilitation from a young age playing sports. I graduated in 2019 from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree and then graduated from Western University in 2021 with a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy.
I realized the need for pelvic floor physiotherapy after a placement with a pelvic PT and how it helped the adjunct symptoms for my ulcerative colitis. I have had colitis for a very long time (since I was 11 years old) and understand the struggles of a chronic illness.
I have since moved to Sudbury, ON and have been working in mostly occupational health services with now being able to focus more on my passion of pelvic health rehab, specifically the link between GI issues, pelvic floor tension and myofascial conditions (i.e. hypermobility).
I offer unique 1-on-1 services to all of my clients, tailored to their rehab goals. I always say to my clients "If I don't want to do these exercises why would you want to do them." This helps to realize I am here to support you in your rehab not just follow some protocolled program.
I have experience in occupational health (WSIB) claims, general MSK injuries, sports rehab, and pelvic health rehab.
I also offer acupuncture and dry needling services to my clients as applicable.
I have a love for all things outdoorsy. Ranging from camping, canoeing, hiking and now rock climbing.
I can also be found in various volleyball leagues around Sudbury.
I have recently also gotten into birding and sourdough baking. Turning 30, I really fell intro these stereotypes and am LOVING it.
